Allow users to skip an item in the Series Progress trackers
Right now the Series Progress tracker that shows the next issue in a series for you to read is very hit or miss if it’s accurate. It doesn’t seem to take into account if you have a variant cover or if you have moved from trade paperbacks to single issues.
As examples I have ready up to trade paperback #8 of Ice Cream Man before transitioning to single issues. The progress tracker is forever stuck on telling me my next issue is trade paperback #9 even though I have read past the issues included in that trade paperback.
Another example…3 votesIf you're seeing series that won't let you progress, it's usually just missing story breakdowns for the issues. Please submit a support ticket for this one so I can look into it. It should permit multi-format progression. I can add the stories if a contributor hasn't.

Persistent bottom menu bar in app
The menu bar (with the home, release, collection and search buttons) is not available when viewing series, individual issues, creator pages, etc. there is a button in the top left to navigate back but i often click through a series of links and it would be nice to have the menu available to quickly return to the main pages.
1 voteFrom a usability and performance perspective, this cannot be done on mobile phones without significantly streamlining comic and series pages and removing functionality. No plans in the near future to do this.

Separate "Variants & Reprints" into 2 formats
As a collector of facsimile editions I find it incredibly tedious to try and weed through the numerous variant covers of new releases to try to find new facsimile releases

Guest Artist/Pin-Up Artist Role
It would be nice to be able to differentiate artists who did not work on the main body of a book -- in annuals or collections with pin-ups, for instance -- from the primary artist.

delete all comics button
It would be a button to delete all your comics if you wanted to start over or delete a whole series from your database.
4 votesI would prefer a support ticket for this request. I get a lot of emails asking to recover things deleted, and I would be scared of this happening a lot for a whole collection.

Since you already have every League of Legends comic (Zed, Lux and Ashe) it'd be nice to have it here marked as well, since it's officially published by RIOT aswell

being able to report posts and users
I'm aware that this idea has been proposed and declined before, but maybe with more new users every day, we should add one. I understand that the moderators can't always be available and scan the site for anyone breaking the rules, but the users should be able to help. Yes some people may abuse it even though there is a block button available but then make false reporting against the rules as well. we can't just keep relying on the block button when someone is clearly breaking the rules.

[bug] android app incorrectly says I have read 15k comics
recently my app has marked just about every comic entry under the sun as read. Which makes navigating to a specific unread comic that I just finished a bit harder. This probably started a few days to a week ago.

On the web browser I do not have this issue. Everything is the way it should be. I have restarted my phone since seeing the issue.

Issue corrections bug (maybe)
Hi, I've noticed that when I submit an issue correction, sometimes fields I didn't change are processed as if I changed them (particularly long text fields such as solicitation but also some others).

Introduce a leaderboard
A ranking system that shows the top users for number of comics owned and comics read. Maybe even sort it by decade/year or publisher. Similar to how icheckmovies works.

Please create two separate categories for books you "collect" and books you "own".
I think it makes more sense to have a separate category that only shows those books that you added purchase details to, and a separate category that either shows all books that I collected or books that I collected but haven't purchased. As for the money spent category, it can then only calculate the total money spent on purchased books, based on the added purchase details, rather than for every book collected.
3 votesThis feels like a semantics issue. If you obtained a comic from a library/Hoopla/MU/DCUI, you are renting it - you don't own it. You can mark it read, which does not imply it was purchased. If you obtain a comic through gifts or "other" means, you can set the Purchase Price to $0.00.

Option to simply "collect / have it" comics without adding it's price to the total money spent.
Sometimes I read comics from libraries and such, or get them through other places, and thus, I don't want the default cost of those comics to be added to my total when I add them to my collection. Please make this option available.
3 votesI'm not sure I understand this use case. If you read it from a library, you read it - you don't own it. If you do somehow own a comic that you got free, you can specify you paid $0.00. Adding a quick option for such a small use case would be clutter.

A way to quickly respond to a disapproved contribution without resubmitting
If the reason for a disapproval is something that can be quickly cleared up, it would be nice to be able to respond directly to the contribution instead of having to resubmit. This would ideally, keep any conversation in one place in case a different moderator is reviewing or there's been enough of a break that things may be fuzzy. A submitter would also be able to ask questions if needed.
6 votesUnfortunately this is not possible from a technical standpoint without a complete rework of contributions. The gain is just not worth it. You may message the community moderator if further review is needed before resubmission.

space out cancel and post buttons
Admin: please change the response pop up on the app so that the cancel and post buttons are on opposite sides of the screen (not adjacent), like the top of the beginning post screen. It sucks to write a long thoughtful response to a post to then have a fat finger moment tap the cancel instead of post button. Poof! Arrrgh!!

Pen Names
Would be nice to have a Pen Names attribute for Creators, much like the Aliases/Nicknames attribute for Characters, allowing for a Creator to come up in the autocomplete when a pen name is typed in.

[Bug] android app: search doesn't ignore colons like the website does
Searching for "Batman Damned" or "X-Men the trial of Magneto" returns no results, "Batman: Damned" and "X-Men: the trial of Magneto" does. On the website both return results.

Longer Community Lists
Lists don't save with more than 496 issues, which makes complete reading order/character appearance type lists hard.

Backup credits
Add ability to mark creators on a book as "backup" or something similar for crediting creators who worked on backup stories on an issue. As it stands now, you have to mark them as Writer or Artist, making the credits page confusing as there could be many writers listed when there was only one writer for the main story.
It seems like it would probably be unwieldy to add "backup" versions of all the creator credits, so maybe a checkbox or text box next to a credit that allows the creator to be marked as a backup creator (if checkbox)…
