What features would you like to see?

  1. Sell or Trade

    Sell/Trade Feature

    We would all love to see a feature added to our favorite comic database website that would allow for simple/easy Selling and or Trading of comics.

    @CaptHowdy had the brilliant idea to add a feature that would be controlled just like we do when we add a comic, mark as read, or add to our wish list. That would allow us to show others that this comic is one that we are willing to Trade or Sell.

  2. Search with key words not exact match for starts with

    Non-exact match searching. Today when you search it seems like it's doing an exact match for starts with rather than a general search to find comics. Sometimes it can be difficult to find comics since they are listed in the database with a slightly different name or with symbols like "/" or ":" which aren't exactly on the comic itself

    Sort comics by date or having currently running/ completed sections when browsing.

  4. A way to follow creators.

    There should be a way to follow comic book creators. This way we can easily keep track of artists, writers, etc. that we like and navigate to their comics easier instead of having to pull their comics.

    A feed that updates to show new comics from followed creators would also be a nice touch.

  5. "Next in story" banner (like events)

    We have events covered, but we don't have storylines covered.Take Venom by Donny Cates for example: midway through it focus on an event (Absolute Carnage) that is important to that run story, Then After the event is over, the story continues back to the Venom series, and again goes to another event (King in black) and so on. This is the norm in modern comics.Aaron's Thor, Zdarsky Daredevil, all span multiple events and relaunches. Storylines and arcs are left out for external guides outside LOCG, and community lists.   6. Filter issues by "reprinted"/"collected" status

    It would be useful to filter issues by whether they can be read in a collected format (specifically, TP or HC). Currently, to answer the question "can I read this series in a collected format," the user has to click through every issue and scroll to the "Collected In" section. It would save time to be able to do this with a single click.

    Also, if in the future collected editions were tagged with keywords like "Omnibus," "Epic Collection," etc. it would play well with this feature to show, at a glance, which issues have been collected by format. I'm…

  8. Option to mark read and add to collection in one button

    Whenever I add a series to my collection I dont take the time to mark read for each one because it takes too long. Make this easier. Especially from mobile app rather than two buttons just one: Add to collection and read

  9. Legacy Numbering

    A setting for this website that puts everything into legacy order. By that I mean it lumps every volume of a series as just one. It could be an interesting way to view your collection and see how much of an entire series you have. Plus, it will make looking through series that have legacy numbering easier.

  10. Jump to Issue Number

    With some Series having 100's of issues and including variants etc. It would be nice as a User to have a selectable number per 100 issues to quickly click which in turn would "jump" the user to start with. Or have a manual entry number field that could be populated/entered to quickly navigate to the User to that issue number.

    Enhancement to "Reading" Section --
    I'd like to see if there was an ability to add some additional fields to build a type of "reading journal"

  12. Signed feature improvement

    The Signed field should not be free text. We should be able to select multiple registered creators, which then should be able to be filtered on like tags are. Comics have multiple creators working on a single issue and the free text field isn't sufficient enough to keep track of who has signed what.

  13. Separation for "Issue Name" or "Chapter Title"

    I mainly request this feature because of the current display for arc titles.

    "THEIR DARK DESIGNS PART 7 solictationtextgoeshere" isn't exactly the most appealing way to display something. I'd go for adding quotation marks, though I heard those aren't allowed.

    In any case, I feel that some form of separation that doesn't clash with the solicitation text would be useful. Maybe a subtle highlight for the chapter name so there's a visual distinction?

  17. Implement a search bar for My Community Lists

    Can we add a search bar to the My Community Lists page? I have over 30 lists and I have to scroll through them to find what I'm looking for and it can be frustrating. Especially when I'm at a comic book shop and trying to find something specific. Thanks!

  18. Intuitive searching would be nice

    Intuitive searching would be nice — As in when I type "Ms Marvel, Miss Marvel, or Ms. Marvel" or "X-Men Blue, X Men Blue, or X-Men: Blue" it would be nice if the search understands all of those searches are looking for the same thing.

  20. Mobile suggestion & Social networking Suggestion

    An app where you could scan bar codes would be an awesome feature. It would make life a little simpler to just have it all on your phone.

    Also, Finding friends from current social networks. It would be pretty helpful to see which of my friends are already using this service and I can add them to my activity feed. See what they are pulling, reading and dropping.

    Its a brilliant website so far though!
