My Comics - Ability to track duplicates other than just by Quantity
As a User I may have multiple of the same issue, but I may have paid a different amount, received a different grade, one is raw vs. the other Slabbed, etc. It would be nice to track these duplicates.
I believe this will be even more important now that the Market system has been put in place and the new Estimated Cost, Newsstand Price and Price Paid tracking is available.

It would be extremely useful to me to have a separate entry for each duplicate of a comic issue. This would help greatly with duplicate issues in different grades, slabbed vs. raw, purchasing from different stores and different price points.

I always add a Tag called "Multiple" so they are easily findable, set the quantity to the amount, and then in the Notes I put details for each separate one, when I bought it, and the cost. The Price Paid is the total of all, and the Date Purchased can either be the first, or the latest. I do similar for multiple signings. I put the creator in the "Signed By" box separated by comma's, but the Notes box holds the details. I also add a "Signed" tag for those as well so they're easily findable.

I was really shocked when I joined that adding multiple copies is just incrementing a number in the "Quantity" field and came with no additional information. I'd really like to keep my total number of comics correct with the amount of copies I own and have different statistics for each copy.

This is a great idea as a person that has CGC copy and raw copy hard to keep track of price paid with only one entry and date. This feature would be very nice to have.

@jason I was unaware of that, sounds like a bug for sure.

Wish I could vote more than 3 times. The Quantity field is ok, but when I click on tags and browse and filter my collection, the Quantity doesn't show up in the number on the tags. I could have 100 copies of the same issue, but the tags and searching for that issue in my collection will still only show "1".

It also bugs me that entering a quantity doesn't update the number shown in my collection. I can have 100 copies of the same issue, but it will only show up as "1" when clicking on tags and such.

Another reason for separate entries, is if you want to list one copy to keep and another to sell. In this scenario I have the two copies stored in different boxes, as well.

Option for collectors to have multiple entries for a single comic issue. ie. An issue was purchased when it came out in 1987. Then in 2017 the collector purchases another copy of the same issue, but it has a different grade and was purchased at a different price. This is accommodated on other comic database websites and applications.
