What features would you like to see?

  1. Ability to 'report' user posts

    I propose we add a "report" button to any sort of user post. Recently there have been users spamming the community feed and abusing the the ability to review.

  2. Open Source?

    I love comics and I love your product! I'm also always looking for open source projects to contribute to... do you have / do you plan to open source any of the site or mobile apps?

  3. Scrape/Import data from ComicVine/Comics.org/other to speed up adding older series' to the database.

    Import/scrape from Comics.org or Comicvine.com. Perhaps it could stub out an issue submission page that we could then modify/tweak to make complete correct. It would save a lot of data entry when adding older stuff.

  4. Ability to archive series within my collection

    Ability to archive series from your collection.

    I use this mostly to keep track of what I am pulling and reading right now, not to catalog my entire collection. If there are series that I've finished or that I dropped and no longer care about, I would like to be able to move them to an archive section so I can peruse my collection without it being overwhelmed with stuff I am no longer interested in.

  5. Android app support for Kobo Arc tablets/ereader

    Support for kobo ereaders? i use a Kobo Arc7 hd to read all my books and id love to be able to use the android app on a bigger screen

  6. Sharing updates to Tumblr.

    For down the to-do list (it's not a critical feature), I'd love to be able to share things like "added X and Y other comics to their read list" updates (or whatever updates?) to Tumblr as an image gallery post, linking back to LoCG. Or even sharing a given week's pull list in the same fashion.

  7. Links to websites/social for series (if any)

  8. Sorting options under "Manage Subscriptions"

    Currently, subscriptions sort by publisher alphabetically, THEN comic alphabetically. This is a little weird since I really don't care at all about the publisher when searching for whether or not a comic is on my list. I'd like an alternative view option where you can simply sort titles alphabetically in one list, with publishers less dominant. Such as...

    Deadpool (2012) - Marvel
    Drifter (2014) - Image
    Low (2014) - Image
    Prometheus: Fire and Stone (2014) - Dark Horse

    This delivers the same information, but the publisher is less dominant.

  9. Mobile site

    A mobile version of the site since the app is frustrating to use on iOS (I've used it on Android, the platform it was clearly developed for, and it's fine besides slow loading and jittery scrolling).

    Allow adding covers from urls.

    Right now I have to download a cover and then upload it to the site. It would be better if I just pasted a link to the cover and the site downloaded it from there.

  11. Purchase Issues Online

    I love the idea of being able to purchase comics through this website. I have one comic book shop in my town and they don't always carry the issues i'm looking for or they sell out quick. I would like to be able "pre-order" from my pull list, provide you with a credit card and have you (or a distributor) ship my issues to me... with a bag and board option. =)

    I've been searching for this all over the internet and I'm either not using the correct search terms or it doesn't exist, because I can't find a website…

  12. TV shows adding more/user adds tv show you accept.

    You can update the COMIC BOOK TV SHOWS page. Since there are a lot of shows you've missed there.

    The Incredible Hulk cartoon from the 90's for example, and the tv show Flash TV show etc. Should be a page where you can add suggestions and you can check through the information and just press accept if a user wants to add a TV show IMO.

    Podcasts (audio or video) and their episodes with what their topics/comics were discussed. Of course, limit it to comic book related podcast. Wouldn't need to host, just link.
