Barcode Ideas
It'd be cool to have the Series barcode separated from the issue barcode, so you only have to enter the former and you can deduce the later.
suggesting new barcodes should be easier, if the app doesn't find the scanned code, users should be able to suggest it.
1 voteNot all series have the same first half of the barcode so this is not doable.
As for the suggesting barcodes, the contribution system handles that.

Collection folders
Just some feedback. It would be a really great feature if there were expandable folders in the "my collection" view so that, for example, all my spider-man comics could be grouped together under 'S' instead of spread out by the alphabetized amazing spiderman, spectacular spiderman, etc.

open source the android app
Hello Jordan,
I understand from reading here that LOCG is mostly a one man endeavor meaning that things can happen slowly as they are reliant on your free time.
Would you consider open sourcing the android app to help ease your work load. With the source being accessible it would allow those of us who code to help fix bugs mention on uservoice and look at adding feature requests similarly added here.

Use indicia for titles
How about more systematically applying title names using actual titles per indicia (not making up FCBD title names or leaving out creator names).

A to Z by Pub of my pull list
I want to be able to easily view a list of what series are currently in my pull list. so if someone says "hey what all do you read"? I can go here is a list A to Z or maybe by publisher. I live in the pull list and new comics tabs but i find myself using excel to track what ongoing series I subscribe to and what limited runs i'm picking up. Maybe its just me, but I have to click collection tab, then the series to see if im pulling it or not. at 50+ this gets…

Option to hide "Collected In" section for issues
Maybe I am dumb for getting mildly annoyed over 30+ year old spoilers, but I am currently reading Amazing Spider-Man from the start and so far for some of the issues there is a collection listed that has spoilers in the name of the collection such as "The Death of Captain Stacy" or "The Death of Gwen Stacy" which are spoilers.
Maybe some way to hide collections shown in user options or some sort would be welcomed.
1 voteComic publishers will often "spoil" things intentionally to create buzz. These are seminal stories you've referenced. To hide these names throughout the site would be a bit challenging.

When you split screen with windows, the website lines up in an awkward way. This could be improved by making the menus smaller or something

Site creators to be responsite
It is great that we have a place to make suggestions for LOCG but the creators / admins are silent here, never do I see anything implemented.
Please Site admins but more proactive and implement changes and improvements recommended here.
3 votesI (Xploited), am fairly active and regularly adding new features if you’re watching. Last week was the Follower Feed and this week improvements to Search are being tested.
It’s just me – and if you notice, I am also doing a large amount of contributions weekly to keep all the latest releases fully detailed.
If you are referring to pulling from the Suggestions area, I do – though slowly – as I am focused on rolling out the new social features with the mobile apps.

Delete old submissions
Ability to delete submissions after approved or denied.
1 voteContribution history cannot be removed as it allows moderators and other users to review what has changed within a comic.
There are no plans to provide this option.

Add a Condition Rating for hard copies in collection details.
Something as simple as a radio button for conditions for rating hard copies in your collection. Could be used to generate estimated values from database.

Add comics togather. For instance putt all hip hop variants in one series or file instead of listing them separate each time.

Expand back issue database
This is shaping up to be a great place to keep track of my collection, so I would like to see priority number one to be expanding the back issue database.
