What features would you like to see?

  2. Rewrite website asynchronous networking to be efficient

    I was looking at the api used by the site internally and I discovered something horrifying: html code for asynchronous parts of the page are being constructed on the server side and then sent to the client!
    This is a terrible idea. It would be much better if your internal api simply sent a json object to the client, exclusively containing data about the comics, comic list etc... and then have the client construct the dynamic page parts, rather than having the server construct the asynchronous page parts.   3. Mass update for adding comics to characters

    Characters can already be added through the Community Contributions page.

    As for “making it smoother”, I’d need to hear additional feedback in that regard. Additional fields such as universe, publisher are being added soon – but what else would you like to see?

  11. Connecting A PayPal Account To Profiles

    Being able to connect a PayPal account to profiles so that you can charge your pull list customers for their books when they arrive in the shop would be phenomenal — Part of the process of checking people's books in each week could be charging their PayPal account.

    Maybe exceeding a certain amount of books on your pull list with a store could require you to attach a PayPal account to it. If a customer only has 2 or 3 books on their Pull List, not a big deal, but once they start getting in the realm of 10 to…

  12. Getting a welcome/confirmation email when you register on LOCG and when you share your pull list with a store.

    Confirmation and welcome emails would be nice — I registered for an account and then even created a pull list and shared it with a shop.
    Once I initially registered, I was expecting some sort of email that said, "Welcome to the LOCG! This is who we are, what we do and how it works. Have fun" and when I shared my pull list with the comic shop, I expected some sort of "Thanks for trusting us with you comics and business etc. We will be in touch when your first pulls have arrived."

    Appending additional information such as creators seems to be with the objective of using Excel to manage your collection instead of League of Comic Geeks. We aim to build a solution that assists you with cataloging so you don’t need Excel. You can already filter your collection on the site by a creator. Given this, we have no plans to append this data.

  17. Add print collection to PDF file

    Add print collection to PDF file, with option to print the fields you wish to include, must include the quantity of individual issues you have already entered in inventory online. currently excell export makes me have to re-enter qtys again which gets tedious..
