When a contributor (Rank 3 or above) believes a particular comic is approaching a "complete" state with all applicable fields entered and accurate, they can submit a Community Verification Request. This request is then shared with other similarly ranked contributors for review for 72 hours. While this request is pending, no corrections can be made. However, if three contributors (Rank 3 or above) agree this comic is "complete", the comic becomes a "Community Verified Comic" and is essentially locked down. In this state, any corrections submitted must be reviewed by a group of Rank 3 or above contributors. The Community Verified status is a great way to ensure the comic page maintains its accurate and complete state, informing all other users that no further changes should be necessary.
