Structure Story Breakdowns by issues with TPs/HCs
The idea is to have Story Breakdowns collapse under issue number instead of story being the root.
One of the biggest thigs I do in Comic Geeks is researching what issues are collected in a given trade or hardcover as well as where else is that issue is collected. With the recent changes to "Story Breakdowns," a large portion of collected editions have been changed to have what "stories" are collected. While a lot of the time it functions as listing out the issues incidentally, it doesn't always. For example, Action Comics by Morrison has multiple stories within an issue, so in collected editions there are multiple issues listed making it harder to see what the ISSUES are collected.
While "stories" are helpful in zooming in how the specific contributions to a given issue or collected edition, it's confusing for understanding what content is collected because we identify comics by issues. Solicits name the issues being collected in it. We refer to Batman's first appearance in Detective Comics #27, not The Case of the Chemical Syndicate. People refer to where people can read the Galactus Trilogy as it being Fantastic Four #48-50. Story title don't really tell me what's being collected.
Since Story Breakdowns were created to specify details with a given issue, it makes sense to treat the issue number as the root and build from there. It would fix problems like the Action Comics example I gave and make navigating collected editions a lot easier.
Story Breakdowns have additional settings available on the mobile app and website to alter their contents.
