When you own a variant there is no way to know you own an issue?
When you own a variant and it's 6 variants deep there is no way to know you own "that issue" So I wish there was a way to show "You don't have the original but you do own the issue on some level on the main page of a comic when you click on the title. Aka "Pull It
Have It
Read It
Want It
Have Variant" <-- That sounds dumb at least now I know. I don't want to own the original plus all the variants but you see a list of 20 comics that you own and it skips the random issue (because you have the variant) it looks weird.
Today, a new beta option "Collapse Variants" has been rolled out to League of Comic Geeks Patron users. This option collapses variants underneath the main cover in the interface. If a variant is owned, it'll display a collected icon next to the variant count ensuring you can see you own a variant.
In a few weeks after some iteration, this option will either become available to all users, or become the new baseline for the interface. If you're a Patron user, feel free to check it out and share your feedback.

I must not be looking at the list correctly, because I can't find this "Collapse Variants" option anywhere.

I like that color idea a lot! Simple and clear.
Still can't figure out what changed in the proposed solution as it is now turned off for me...

I think the easiest way this can be addressed is by highlighting the "In Collection" button from something other than orange to a different color (say light blue). So if I own a variant of an issue, and its not A, I can easily see at a glance on the main page that I do own it. This means I dont need to use the Variants option in the sidebar and can just stick with the main series page for the most part.

Did the feature disappear?

I would love for this option to also show something like I own this issue in a TPB or Omni. So you know you don't need to collect this to read it. So if I own a TPB that has issue 1-5 in it the app would show I have it in a TPB form already. I don't like clicking "own" because it will mess with the value of your collection (and other things) but I don't want mistakenly hunt down issue 1-5 if I just want to read.

Awesome! Looking forward checking this out! I'm assuming it will take a few hours to be available. Is this on the App, or the website? Or both?

Where is this option? Can’t find it!

So is this not at all a priority with the site? Because I find it really frustrating every day, when I look and see I don't own an issue but own the variant.

The biggest issue for me is I often turn off "Variants and Reprints". When I do, it shows that I do not own an issue.
Easy Solve: It would be cool if there was a checkbook to show "Issue Numbers" owned. This would basically ignore Regular vs Variants and just count an issue number as the item that it is displaying by.

Yes, I support addressing this drawback. Maybe adding the possibility of toggling "Regular issue + Own" instead of simply "Regular issue" could address this without too much trouble?

Yes, this is the whole reason I came to the feedback section. It's frustrating looking at a comic series and seeing some orange "owned" marks and some blank, and they're only blank because I have the variant. It makes it difficult to track my collection and fill the gaps. This is increasingly difficult when some of my collection is from a trade, so it takes extra work to ensure it's there.

I'd love this too. I keep thinking I'm missing some issues when look at a series page if I have variants. And checking the Variants box doesn't help since this lists everything.

This could apply to trades as well- show that you own in a trade paperback or collected edition
