  1. Adding multiple issues to your read list

You can add a range of issues from a series to your read or collected list. E.g I have read issues 1 to 140 of the amazing spider-man, but as far as i can tell i would have to individually add all 140 issues to my read page.

With the addition of the Pro & Patron subscriptions, we have launched a Bulk Add/Edit tool that makes it even easier to manage your collection.

When using the tool, select the “Issue Range” option from its search tab. Then, enter a series name and issue range such as Amazing Spider-Man #1-140

The Amazing Spider-Man series will display with the 140 issues. Click the select all checkbox on the series to select the 140 issues. (Note they will appear in the Selected tab if you’d like to verify) Next, click the Add button on the bottom right to add these to your list.

You can also quickly add these to other lists, add tags, rate and more from the bulk controls.

  2. Option to mark comics as read/unread

This would be useful to keep track of what you've read, and what you could read next.

We’ve now added the ability to mark any issue as read. They will now show up in your Read List.

This is the first iteration of this feature. I’d love to get your feedback on it in its current state and continue to refine it from there.

To get started on adding a comic to your Read List, just click the cog next to the Add button. It will prompt a popup that will allow you to rate, review, and mark it as read. Hit Save and Close, and it will then be a part of your Read List.

  3. Stats on Read Comics

Statistics on read comics as well as, or separate from, owned comics.

  4. Submitting Creator Pictures

I noticed most of the comic creators (writers, artists etc.) don't have their photos. Maybe making those submittable by the community would be a good feature.

  7. Add in bulk by number

Adding issues by entering issue numbers (ie 234-255,258,263-270) instead of having to search through the list and click on each one.

The option to add multiple copies of the same issue. Currently the only way to do this is by adding a Tag such as "2 copies" to the issue.

  9. TPB and Single Issue Info/Collection Merging

Merging info/read/collected status of TPB and the issues they collect. On the info side of things, characters added to the issues they collect should also show up as characters in the TPB, creator info as well, etc. For Read/Added, if someone owns and/or read the TPB, it should be reflected in the single issues as well. Sort of weird to have read the TPB but have the issues themselves shown as not read.

  10. Series-level notes/stats for your collection

Series-level notes or checklists/check-marks. Something as simple as a check-mark showing you have collected everything within a series, or notes for yourself about your series overall. Maybe even an indicator showing you have how many issues of a series, like showing 21/55 to say you have 21 issues and there are 55 total.

  12. Use barcode scanner of mobile app to see if you already have a title in your collection

Use barcode scanner of mobile app to see if you already have a title in your collection instead of automatically adding it. This would be useful in stores or comic sales to prevent double purchases.

  13. Variants/Reprints should count towards creative team stats in collection.

Variants and reprints should count towards creator (writer, artist etc.) stats in collection. Only the original cover or printing does currently.

  14. Ability to filter a creator's page by credit

On a creator's page (for example, Chip Zdarsky's: https://leagueofcomicgeeks.com/people/6209/chip-zdarsky) it would be nice if we could filter the books based on the credit on the issue. For example, filtering Zdarsky's page for comics he was credited as Writer or Artist or Cover Artist, etc.Useful for creators who do both art and writing (like Zdarsky) or for artists who do covers and interiors.

Would ideally be a checklist, allowing for multiple select, like how the Publisher and Format filters are set up.

  15. Improved Collection Stats

We already have graphs and top 10 lists. Why not improve the lists so that when you selected (Top 10 Writer)/(Top 10 Collected Comics) it would pull up a list of what was contained? As well as a similar effect with the graphs, currently you can select a group, but I don't believe there is a way to be taken to a list of what that contains.
Would it be possible to select other criteria to view in the 2 graphs?
Could we also have more Top 10 type lists to select from, such as Letterer/Penciller/Colorist type criteria(Not sure how…

League of Comic Geeks now has more Collection Stats. See your Top 10 Interior Artists, Cover Artists, Letterers, and Colorists. All top lists feature links that will take you directly into your Collection filtered on that creator.

This is just scratching the surface. I have more plans for comic stats with a new Comics dashboard, so stay tuned.

  16. Community Ratings

We are allowed to rate the books that we pull from 1-5 but it seems that it does nothing. We need something that will average the community votes and maybe even says how many people have voted so far. ie. Batman #24 community rating: 4.3 / 5 stars with 17 votes.

The new web interface that launched this weekend has the average community rating on the comic page now.

I believe this change is exactly what everyone was looking for, so I’m closing this suggestion ticket. If anyone has additional feedback, I can further iterate on it.

  17. List the issues collected in each TPB/Hardcover.

Sometimes the information is in the description, but not always. I recommend that there's a field specifically for this information to be displayed.

    Hey folks!

This feature has now been added. You can now add the list of individual issues collected in a trade paperback or hardcover.

As I mentioned, It couldn’t be done retroactively, but the community will definitely be able to work together to go through the database and update entries. Just click “Submit Corrections” to enter the issues.

Here’s an example of how it works:
    http://leagueofcomicgeeks.com/comic/3812968/red-lanterns-vol-4-blood-brothers-tp

As you can see, it lists the individual issues the trade contains and you are able to click into the issue itself. On the individual issue page, you’ll see a list of books that collect it.

As a side note – when the story arc feature is complete, it should add even more usefulness to this.

Lastly, I want to thank everyone that has shared their feedback here, voted, and emailed us requesting this feature. With your help, we’ll continue to make League of…

  18. Comic Price Guides

From comic book readers to comic movie fans and comic collectors, the League of Comic Geeks is a home for all. We have a wealth of tools available to discover, track, and discuss past, present, and future titles. These tools have ensured the platform has become an ideal, comprehensive home for many comic geeks. This is in large part thanks to the community feedback to continually iterate on these core competencies. Today, we unveil a new core beta feature that you've requested - Comic Price Guides & Values.

Comic Price Guides & Values on League of Comic Geeks enable our…

  19. More screen space for content

Site should focus more on the content than in the menus. More than half the screen real state is lost on menus, avatars, filters. It is like the comics are an afterthought. Possible solutions include a thin bar wherever you like to place it with buttons to call more advanced filters or options. Additionally, if the site remembered last used filters for each view it would also decrease filter utilization and the need for constantly using that menu.

  20. iOS App Feedback

    1. [Bug] The status bar appears blank.
    2. [Bug] The profile picture in the menu is too big and is overlapped by 'New comics/Search/Barcode scanner'.
    3. [Bug] Notifications don't work at all.
    4. [Idea] Open source the app or open a beta test.
    5. [Idea] The app icon doesn't look very good, I think leaving the orange box in a blank white background would make it look pretty nice.
    6. [Idea] Enable push notifications.
    7. [Idea] Replace 'Trending Discussions' from the Dashboard with 'Community Feed'. Reason: I believe the feed is the most used feature from the website and it would be one less step to get…
