Export rating/review
I appreciate that the app is free and that there is a connected business model.
Having the option to export my own rating/review is crucial though. That's personal data I added and want to get out if necessary.
Thanks
1 voteCompletely understandable viewpoint, which is why your ratings have now been added to the export process.
Unfortunately, reviews, comments, and other posts are not something we can add. Should you invest time into discussing the comics in these forms, we recommend you save your write-ups if you have concern or intend to leave the platform.
As always, League of Comic Geeks has been dedicated to comic fans for over 10 years and we hope to continue to serve the community for many many more years to come!

Update Variants Release Date When Issue's Date Updated
When an issue's release date is updated, any variant that shares the same release date should be updated as well. Right now you have to go through each variant and update them manually if the release date changes, which can be cumbersome for issues with many variants.
If the release dates don't match, they shouldn't update, this would solve problems where there are 2nd or higher printings that came out later, etc.
3 votesI have had an admin control that does this for some time now. I tried the exact match release date solution, but it would be useless in scenarios where someone updated one entry but not others. At the moment, it just ignores variants that have "Print" in their name. You'll now find this option under the Moderator Controls for the Main Cover. Let me know if you have any feedback once you've tried it.

Allow adding of characters from "Submit New Issue"
At the moment, you submit the new issue, and then once that has been approved/added, you have to go back into it to add characters.
It would be useful if we could add characters at the same time as we create the new issue, just like we can for creators and collects/reprints
1 voteYou can now add characters when submitting a new issue. Thank you for your patience and support.

Add publisher Hibernia Comics
Hibernia have created a series (in association with the Treasury of British Comics) called "The Fleetway Files", reprinting comic series from Fleetway and IPC.
They have two issues so far ("The Angry Planet" by Alan Hebden and Massimo Bardinelli; "The Indestructible Man" by Scott Goodall and Jesús Blasco) with more planned.
They have also published other series, including a book reprinting Kevin O'Neill's early, lesser-known work for 2000 AD, Starlord, Tornado, Oink! and Lion
I have these 3 issues, and can add them to the database, but I need the publisher to be present in order to do so.
1 voteHibernia Comics have now been added as a publisher to the League of Comic Geeks.

Creator search in your own catalog
When you search a creator and it tells you how many books in your catalog are from that creator ... you should be able to see what specific books in your collection have that creator attached to it. Currently it just states how many books you own by that creator. It would be cool to click on that number and have it display the titles for you.
5 votesThis is actually an already existing feature on League of Comic Geeks.
You can go to the Creator’s Comics page, like Scott Snyder’s here:
https://leagueofcomicgeeks.com/people/179/scott-snyder/comicsThen, select the “Owned” option under the My Lists filter.
Alternatively, you can go to your Collection/My Comics, and then filter by Creator there.

Sort by rating in My Comics even if you don't have a series expanded
Right now, the only way you can sort by rating is if you open a series. Then you can sort by rating, WITHIN that series. This is only useful if you want to find which issue you liked the most.
If I want to take my whole collection, and see which comics I've rated the highest, to share some good comics with a friend, there's not really any good way of doing this right now.
8 votesYou can now sort by rating with Browse by Issue mode.

Option to view full summaries on comic list page
I'd like an option to be able to view the full descriptions of comics in the list view, rather than having it cut off and having to click "View" on each individual issue to view them.
A toggle option to expand the list to show the full descriptions would be nice.
3 votesToday we introduced Split View Layout which makes it easy to view summaries in the list view for Collections, Wish Lists, and Read Lists. This will be expanded to include other lists in the future.
Split View Layout is available with a Patron subscription and will be available through Pro in the upcoming months. You can read more about this addition here: https://leagueofcomicgeeks.com/community/thread/13829373

Filter creator by role.
Filter creator by role. For instance I want to see the work of Javier Rodriguez. Currently the database will show me every book he's credited on, but I want to narrow it down by the role he had on the book. I don't want to see every time he made a cover or inked a book. I want to see where he was the main artist for the book.

Add the rating column to search and other lists
I often want to see which issues or books I really enjoyed, but in many cases, I can only view it in a few locations, such as when I'm browsing a series or previewing a series in a search, where I then expanded the series.
I would like to be able to see the column more.
For series, it should be able to get an average for that series.
Ideally, there should be an option to auto-expand series, so that the ratings can then be displayed for issues. For example when I'm looking through what a creator has done, I…
3 votesSeries averages are now in the Series Reviews tab of a Series page.
As for the creators, I understand a lot of people want this - but it's something I want to avoid for toxicity purposes.

List issues instead of series in My Comics
The list of comics right now only shows the series. This is usually how you want to have it. But I could see it being useful to be to toggle and list issues instead.
This would pull all issues out of their Series, and the Series could instead be one of the columns.
Rating can now be displayed right in the list, and you should be able to sort and filter by rating, without having to expand a Series first.
4 votesWe are currently beta testing this feature with the Patron subscription community. You will find it in the List Settings as Browse by Issue.

Remove ratings in app
A button to remove a rating in the app. Useful if you accidentally tap a star rating when you don't mean to. There's one in (mobile) browser to delete a star rating entirely, but the feature is absent in the app.

Is there a way to add a publisher?
I've just noticed that a publisher is missing. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EigoMANGA
https://www.eigomanga.com/
Although they have "manga" in the name, this is an American imprint for manga-influenced comics. I've noticed that LoCG has publishers in similar vein, but this one is missing for some reason. Any way I can contribute by adding it?1 voteAll publishers must be submitted to an admin to add. This publisher has now been added.
