Api access
A (simple) REST API for programmatic access to the service.
I would like to be able to build my own import script (to my collection/read list).
And also an export script for backup if your service ceases to exist.
For inspiration see http://trakt.tv/api-docs
API access is not a part of our roadmap.

I don't have much to add, but this would be great!

Yes please. I’d love to be able to add/remove to/from my wanted, newly added, already read automatically lists thru integration with Ubooquity or Chunky, ComicRack, etc.

Trakt is an excellent example for some of the features LOCG should research.

no news on this? would love to have an api here so we can get some of the great devs from say ChunkyComicReader and Ubooquity in on this. having an api and a server to get and push info too is a much better way of staying in sync in general. to be able to EASILY track your progress on whatever device you have. something like Trakt or AniDB would be a nice way to do it. just set your own limits and it should be good. people could stop using the slow export/import functions aswell.

I'm currently using comic vines API and it's not great. I wrote a slack bot to give me updates on when books in my pull list are in stores but with a rest API to your system I could do so much more cool stuff.

I just wanna add, if a rest api is added, I could create a timeline app for my Pebble watch (www.getpebble.com), as I'm sure others could create similar apps for their wearables like Google Wear or the iWatch
